Mission
The Florida Linux Alliance Group (FLAG) is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to promote Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and Linux business solutions as the low cost producer for the State of Florida. The FLAG will also be responsible for promoting FOSS education seminars and courses throughout the State of Florida.
The FLAG will be governed by the board of directors who will meet monthly to discuss grant proposals, membership drives, events, member recommendations, and work toward influencing Florida Legislators to promote the use of FOSS and Linux in education and state government agencies to save money and encourage the use of green technology.
